The Director of Process Optimization leads the tactical and long-term strategic activities to drive process and technical improvements across the Aspire network.
Directs and coordinates high level projects regarding continuous process improvements in an industrial organization by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities:
Provides strategic direction across the Aspire network on further development of the process technology area to ensure systematic problem solving and optimization of all tasks (man, machine, method, environment, material).
Partners with Operations/ Bakery Leadership to analyse key technical processes and solve complex issues.
Develops and executes comprehensive continuous improvement strategies aligned with Aspire's Full Potential.
Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to implement sustainable corrective measures in the event of recurring errors to ensure trouble-free production operations.
Supports bakeries in the identification and troubleshooting of complex technical issues in operations, analyses root causes and implements solutions to minimize downtime and production disruptions.
Evaluates and integrate new technologies and automated solutions into the manufacturing process.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ten or more years of operational leadership, continuous improvement project experience, training and development, TPM, and Lean Six-Sigma.
Must be able to coordinate all operational aspects of diverse project work and work productively with a wide range of people and job levels, both internally and externally to achieve objectives.
Experience in Safety;SQF,GMP andFood Safety knowledge.
Continuous Improvement experience; TPM, and Lean Six-Sigma.
Excellent PC skills with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and SAP knowledge.
Bilingual English / Spanish preferred.
