What You’ll Bring:
- Partner with business finance teams to analyze investment performance impacts on financial metrics including Earnings and Surplus.
- Master the utilization of the projection model with deep understanding of the modeling of investment income, asset allocation, and portfolio yield expectations.
- Participate in corporate planning process by generating investment projections for the company’s portfolios.
- Coordinate investment projection efforts across Finance teams, Corporate, and investment partners.
- Attribute portfolio performance, including actual to expected investment outcomes versus Plan.
- Provide investment support to Finance senior management and business partners, including:
- Regular production of analyses of the investment portfolios
- Responding to ad-hoc requests, such as scenario analysis and investment activity updates
- Complete monthly analysis of portfolio yields, investment expenses, and other investment costs for use in crediting rate setting of multiple product lines.
- Support planning and analysis related to ALM strategies.
What You’ll Do:
- Highly developed quantitative and analytical skills.
- 3+ years of experience in investment or insurance related field.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance or quantitative area.
- Understanding of fixed income investment.
- Familiarity with insurance company finance and liabilities.
- Experience with investment accounting (a strong plus).
- Some programming experience.
- Proficiency with Excel.
Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $117,500-$200,000. Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes. Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
