About the Job
We are looking for a Customer Relationship Manager who has passion for Tennis, with a strong understanding of the players, the tournaments, and the day-to-day activity on and off the court.
Working closely with our agencies and marketing team, the Direct to Consumer Customer Relationship Manager will build the CRM & email marketing strategy for the Tennis Channel Direct-to-Consumer Streaming service.
The role is based in our Santa Monica, CA office.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute data-driven CRM strategies to drive customer engagement and retention.
- Partner with key stakeholders to define the strategy, objectives, and KPIs for the email/push programs and each lifecycle within them (onboarding, engagement, retention, etc.).
- Create and manage our CRM calendar and coordinate content with other channels (e.g., organic social, blog).
- Manage the end-to-end creative development campaigns and ensure all content meets our brand standards and provides a consistent brand experience to our customers.
- Manage the day-to-day execution of all emails/push programs in platforms (Salesforce, Cleeng) including setup of new segmented journeys.
- Partner with product to ensure integration of email experience into our overall product experience.
- Continuously monitor email/push performance and provide dashboards, analytics, reports and insights to leadership and key stakeholders, highlighting opportunities for improvement and optimization
- Maintain email data base and lead the segmentation of audiences to identify opportunities for increased customer conversion and retention and reduction of inactive customers and unsubscribe rates.
- Define and execute A/B tests to improve open rates, click to open rates, engagement rates, and conversion rates.
Qualifications:
- 3 to 4 years’ experience with email and push marketing with success in personalization, optimization, and journey development (experience in the streaming space preferred)
- 2 to 3 years’ experience with ESPs such as Mailchimp and Salesforce
- Expert understanding of email and SMS marketing, including customer segmentation, customer journeys, and email analytics
- Demonstrated track record of developing strategies based on business objectives and executing CRM programs that delivered measurable business results
- Understanding of data privacy in relation to email marketing and email databases
- Knowledge and experience of dynamic content creation with use of AMPscript or similar scripting languages
- Copywriting skills
- Superior organizational, project management and communication skills
- Ability to work across multiple teams and stakeholders with a keen eye to identify business priorities
- Experience managing agency partners and marketing budgets

The base salary compensation range for this role is $68,000 to $75,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
