About the Job
TURN Community Services is currently hiring for a full-time Day Program Direct Support Professional - DSP to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Salt Lake City, UT area. This human services position as a caregiver earns a competitive wage of $16.50/hour.

DAY-TO-DAY
As a caregiver in human services, you support people with developmental disabilities to live their best lives as independently as possible. Your support is needed in many areas of daily living including self-care, hygiene, motor skills, arts and crafts, vocational skills, work habits, and community inclusion. Additionally, you assist with behavior management and recreational activities.
Using effective teaching and mentoring techniques, you provide support for our clients with their day-to-day schedules. You are always careful to model appropriate social skills and behaviors. Conscientiously, you keep accurate and up-to-date documentation as well as promptly report any concerns about health or safety. You find it very rewarding to help these wonderful individuals, which is why you're perfect for this caregiver position with our human services organization!

We provide resources to more than 850 individuals with developmental disabilities. With locations from Brigham City to St. George, we offer a full range of services including day programs, residential living, art center programs, summer camp, and supported employment opportunities.
