Working with Adults with IDD in a work activity center!

High School diploma/GED and Driver's license with 3 year driving experience required.

Assists in the development and administration of therapeutic activities, community participation, learning gainful employment skills, learning a work environment.

Provide transportation and supervision of folks participating in community activities.

Demonstrates and physically assists activities such as bathing and dressing to train individuals in daily self-care practices.

Converses with individuals to reinforce positive behaviors and to promote social interaction. Addresses challenging interpersonal issues using best practices.

Teaches and demonstrates appropriate social and personal skills, acts as role model.

Attends 24+ hours of job-related training a year per regulations
