We are looking for passionate, motivated, self- initiating team members to help us with our mission of providing quality services to individuals with developmental disabilities.

We are a small non-profit organization that works in the homes and community with people who have varying disabilities. We take "impossible" and turn it to "possible". We do everything from teaching individuals how to get a job, and taking individuals out on adventures, to providing much needed respite care and mentorship. Our individuals are between the ages of 3 years old-65 years old.

We work with both teens and adults who live at home that need assistance with increasing their independent living skills. Individuals we accept into our programming do not have behavioral issues that put the staff assigned to them at risk of harm.

Responsibilities

â€¢As a Direct Care Worker, you will help provide individuals with the tools and guidance needed to improve their skills and reach their goals

â€¢Assist and facilitate activities of daily living (ADLs) such as household maintenance, personal-care and hygiene, food shopping and preparation, budgeting, leisure activities and socialization skill development

â€¢Provide ongoing support, guidance and role modeling and work with residents to improve their personal responsibility, social skills, community living skills and behavior

â€¢Attend review meetings and other related appointments. Maintain trainings as required.

â€¢Communicate program participant's progress and any changes in daily notes

â€¢Transport individuals to various appointments, work, and recreational activities

â€¢8 hour shift-we do not have overnight shifts and most of our hours are between the hours of 10am-7pm.

Qualifications include the ability to pass a background check, driver's license, reliable transportation, and excellent communication skills.
