Direct Support Associate 

Shift/Hours:  Monday - Friday, First Shift,  8:00 AM-5:00 PM 
Pay Rate:  $22/hr

Location: Columbia , MD

PrideStaff is working with an organization that defines educational philanthropy as a voluntary act of providing support to nonprofit educational institutions to support their attendees with life skills and development. The client is seeking a professional customer care provider to become a part of their expanding team.. This is a temp-to-hire position and this client is looking for a candidate that start immediately! Direct Support Associate responsibilities include:

• Participate in the development and implementation of Individual Plan and document daily activities within the record system
• Support and promote people with developmental disabilities by assisting with educational, social, and recreational services
• Be knowledgeable of the person-centered plan for each person and provide support to them according to their plan
• Fully understand all aspects of fundamental rights

Direct Support Associate requirements include:

• Must display a positive attitude when interacting with others
• Must display a genuine interest in the well-being of their attendees
• Must have a current driver’s license
• Willing to work Independently, Longevity in job positions and grow with the company
• Must be willing to submit to a background check and/or drug screen
