Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 base salary plus performance-based bonus

Position Overview
Our client, a growing company in the Miami Metro Area, is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage key accounting functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with regulations. This role is essential in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization and supporting its overall financial objectives. The candidate will work on-site 5 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.
- Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including variance analysis and supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements, maintaining strong internal controls.
- Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process, contributing to financial planning efforts.
- Collaborate with auditors during financial audits, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist with the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Experience with month-end close processes, financial statements, and audit preparation.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
