Description:
We are looking for a Dining Room manager with remarkable skills, who will run the dining room effectively and with attention to detail.
Our dining room manager candidates are required to be in constant contact with the staff and customers. They need to be able to ensure their staff provides the highest quality customer services.
The responsibilities of a dining room manager will be to greet the staff and customers, provide them with what they need, give intelligent recommendations and suggestions, build customer and brand trust, and assist the staff with anything they need and make sure the customers have a great dining experience.
More importantly, a perfect dining room manager should be reliable, accommodating, courteous, and friendly to ensure that the customers are fully satisfied.
Responsibilities:
• Manage a team of front of house staff including scheduling, training, and general supervision
• Oversee that all opening and closing duties are completed correctly and that cleanliness and maintenance are maintained
• Balancing of all daily and nightly cash drawers and POS
• Providing excellent customer service to guests and excellent leadership to employees
• Enforce and monitor all health, safety, and sanitation standards in their area
• Handle guest complaints according to provided guidelines
• Work closely with the Back of House Manager to provide a seamless experience

We are Vitale's Pizza of Zeeland.
For more than 50 years, the Vitale family has been serving West Michigan with the finest pizza and Italian food. Vitale’s began when Salvatore Vitale immigrated from Sicily to Grand Rapids. In 1966 Sam opened Vitale’s located on Leonard Street NE. Sam used the same time-tested recipes brought over from the old country. Even today, Vitale’s continues to insist on the freshest ingredients. Everything is done in house from chopping the vegetables to making their own sausage, dough and sauces.
Since then, two of Sam’s children, Agostino and Maria, have opened their own Vitale’s restaurants. Agostino and Kerri Vitale own the Comstock Park location, and Ryan and Maria Snyder own the Zeeland location. Ryan and Maria started their pizza business as a take out in 1991, and have recently expanded their business to their current location. What once was a small takeout pizza business has now become a full service restaurant. With an extensive menu that includes salads, burgers, subs, pasta, and of course our award winning pizza, it won't take you long to realize there is something for everyone at Vitale's! Our diverse list of comforting entrees is just one of the reasons our customers keep coming back. With a full service bar, many flat screen TVs, carry out dining, online ordering, and a long list of specials and exclusive offers, it won't take you long to realize that our customers are our top priority.
