Lead Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead a team of wait staff, bus people, hosts, and gift shop personnel.
Train and onboard new dining room and gift shop personnel.
Create and maintain a well-organized schedule for all dining room and gift shop employees, ensuring adequate coverage during operating hours (8-3 every day).
Monitor and ensure exceptional customer service standards are met by all staff members. By Implementing effective strategies for restaurant operations, including food safety regulations and customer service protocols.
Maintain a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for guests in the dining room and gift shop areas.
Conduct regular walk-throughs to ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking of supplies within all locations storage, bathrooms, dining room, and gift shop.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally in person or online.
Collaborate with the kitchen staff and the kitchen manager Kern to ensure smooth and timely food service.
Oversee inventory management for the gift shop, including restocking and ordering merchandise as needed.
Maintain proficient computer skills, including experience with scheduling software and Toast POS systems.
Display flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per business needs.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant or retail setting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, staff, and vendors.
Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of restaurant and retail operations, including food safety regulations and customer service protocols.
