The primary purpose of this position is to assist HealthCare Associates Credit Union in living out our Mission, "Helping our members achieve their financial goals by providing superior financial solutions to "Bank Healthy®." The Digital Marketing Specialist plays a pivotal role in maintaining our competitive edge in the financial marketplace. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record to lead member acquisition and engagement through targeted digital campaigns. In this position, your focus will be on helping develop a digital strategy and executing digital marketing plans, conducting market research, and enhancing our brand across various online platforms. This position involves analyzing data to identify behavior trends and shaping the online marketing strategy to engage our target audience and drive credit union growth, engagement and market differentiation.
Responsibilities:
1. Digital Strategy Development:
•Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
•Conduct thorough research to identify market trends, competitor strategies, and areas for potential growth and differentiation in credit union products and services.
•Define and segment target audiences to tailor digital strategies that resonate withspecific customer demographics and behaviors.
•Regularly assess and refine digital strategies based on performance metrics, industrytrends, and emerging technologies to ensure ongoing effectiveness.
•Help drive the social media strategy, aligning it with overall marketing strategy and goals.
•Stay updated on evolving marketplace trends to facilitate swift and informed decision-making, allowing the credit union to adapt proactively.
•When appropriate, provide well-researched recommendations for product or service enhancements, contributing to the credit union's ability to deliver exceptional value and meet the evolving needs of its members.
2. Digital Marketing Campaign Management:
•Develop comprehensive digital marketing campaigns that align with overall marketing strategy and plan.
•Prepare channel and tactical plans to amplify our credit union's visibility and reach.
•Plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, search engine marketing (SEM), display advertising, and other relevant platforms.
•Utilize data points from various sources to tailor targeted marketing campaigns that engage our members and target audience.
•Develop and execute real-time, behavioral campaigns based on member interactions and behaviors.
•Craft well written communications and messaging to establish a strong brand presence and foster increased engagement.
•Adhere to established budgets for assigned channels or campaigns.
•Explore and implement proactive marketing strategies within the digital banking framework. Including platforms like online banking, Savvy Money among others.
•Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure the social media calendar aligns with main themes, member behavior, and seasonality.
•Utilize analytics and testing platforms to identify additional opportunities and provide insights in support of lead generation initiatives.
•Continually evaluate the website for optimal navigation, transforming the digital branch experience.
•Ensure a seamless member experience across different touchpoints and third-party vendors.
•Identify opportunities for improvement and expansion in the digital realm, including text campaigns, podcasts, video content, and more.
3.Marketing Data Integration, Analytics, and Reporting:
•Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns and leverage data insights to identify trends, user engagement, and campaign performance.
•Ensure seamless connectivity of Google Analytics, Google Ads, and UTMs to track and analyze user behavior effectively.
•Generate regular reports, derive actionable insights, and recommend adjustments to enhance campaign effectiveness.
•Optimize usage of web analytics to increase online visibility and lead flow through digital campaigns via Google Analytics and similar platforms.
•Develop and maintain current and new digital partnerships and vendor relationships.
4.Demonstrated Skills, Abilities, & Behaviors:
•Deep understanding of the full funnel digital marketing space including in-depth knowledge of digital marketing trends, data analytics, campaign management, and emerging technologies.
•Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Ads, and other relevant marketing analytics tools.
•In-depth understanding of identifying target audiences and devising engaging, informative, and motivating digital campaigns.
•Knowledge of SEO tools and principles.
•Analytical mindset with the ability to apply critical thinking in interpreting data and insights.
•Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to create compelling content.
•Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with and build effective relationships at all levels of management, staff, and outside resources.
•Creative and result-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to changing digital marketing trends.
•Strong project management skills with the ability to initiate process improvement recommendations.
•Strong proficiency and focus in digital media, social media, online and mobile banking platforms to support our media strategy.
•Knowledge of financial products and services.
•Ability to collaborate with other functional areas to assist in department and credit union initiatives.

•Working knowledge of law, regulations and compliance practices and procedurespertaining to financial services and digital marketing
•Tech savvy with strong working knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheetsoftware, e-mail software, use of the Internet and the ability to learn internal use software.
Qualifications:
•B.A./B.S. Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent certification, experience, or qualifications required
•Five years or more of Marketing Experience
•Three years or more of Experience in Digital Marketing
•Strong Experience in Web Analytics including Google Analytics and Google Ads
•Experience in CRM's/Query-based Systems
•Credit Union or Banking Industry Experience preferred
•Experience with Credit-Score-Focused Platforms (e.g., Savvy Money) a plus
Schedule:
35-hour work week (onsite)
Monday: 8:15am-5:15pm
Tuesday: 8:15am-4:15pm
Wednesday: 8:15am-3:15pm
Thursday: 8:15am-4:15pm
Friday: 8:15am-4:15pm
