Job DescriptionThe Project Manager is responsible for leading the execution of cross-functional projects within the Digital and Technology PMO, ensuring successful delivery through a structured phase-gate approach. This role involves developing detailed project plans to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Acting as the champion of the project management process, the Project Manager will lead project teams and stakeholders to achieve each project's objectives.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in managing traditional project management frameworks, particularly for digital technology implementations. Strong skills in scheduling, communication, risk management, and documentation are essential.
While experience with Agile methodologies and a servant-leader mindset is a plus, the primary focus of this role is on traditional waterfall project management. Knowledge of the Scrum framework is beneficial for projects with less-defined requirements. A background in managing merger and acquisition (M&A) technology integrations is preferred.
This role is remote, and preference will be made for candidates located in Cleveland, Chicago, and Philadelphia.

- Proactively address changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and develop contingency plans.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team, escalating as necessary.
- Provide weekly status reports to management, highlighting critical path items, achievements, and challenges.
- Escalate unresolved issues appropriately to key leaders to maintain project momentum.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience successfully managing technical projects, preferably within a PMO environment.
- PMP certification is highly preferred; Scrum Master certification is a plus.

- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage team dynamics.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environments.
