This opportunity is based in our Lexington, KY office but offers flexibility to work from home part of the work week.
JOB SUMMARY
The Digital Solutions Specialist (Web Designer) will play a critical role in supporting the organization's web design, development, and event management needs. This position requires proficiency in WordPress (including Elementor), a solid understanding of PHP and JavaScript, and the ability to provide technical support for the Cvent platform. The ideal candidate will contribute to the organization's digital presence by creating and maintaining high-quality web assets and ensuring seamless functionality for event management solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Web Design and Development
- Create, manage and maintain websites using WordPress and Elementor.
- Develop custom functionality using PHP and JavaScript to meet project goals.
- Optimize websites for responsiveness, accessibility and usability.
- Test and debug technical issues to ensure peak performance.
Cvent Support
- Provide technical support for event registration, reporting and website management within the Cvent platform.
- Assist in building and maintaining event microsites and email communications.
- Ensure data integration and troubleshoot event-related issues.
Collaboration and Innovation
- Partner with internal teams to translate objectives into engaging web and event solutions.
- Stay informed about web development trends and Cvent updates to enhance the organization's capabilities.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong proficiency in WordPress and Elementor.
- Working knowledge of PHP, JavaScript and related web development technologies.
- Experience with event management software (e.g. Cvent), including advanced application and troubleshooting.
- Ability to deliver visually compelling, responsive, and user-friendly designs.
- Collaborative mindset with effective communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel to meetings and regional events to capture and cover content.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in web design and development, including hands-on Cvent platform use.
COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position, based in Lexington, KY is $60,000 to $70,000. This salary range is subject to change based on work location and market conditions.
