Position Overview:
We're in search of a dynamic and seasoned Digital Sales Tool Product Manager to join our esteemed team. This individual will spearhead the definition and execution of product strategy for our Salesforce-based digital sales tools. The primary objective is to empower our sales teams, driving productivity, uncovering new insights, and enriching their overall sales experience. The ideal candidate will adeptly gather and analyze feedback from sales teams, translating insights into actionable product requirements, and overseeing all phases of tool development, from conceptualization to implementation and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and execute product strategy for Salesforce-based digital sales tools in alignment with [Company Name]'s sales and business objectives.
Engage with sales teams to comprehend their needs and challenges, gathering feedback and insights to steer product development decisions.
Translate sales feedback and requirements into clear, actionable product specifications for development teams.
Foster close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, engineering, and UX/UI design, ensuring seamless development, testing, and rollout of sales tools.
Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs, driving continuous enhancement of sales tools.
Develop and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
Liaise with IT teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product releases, managing expectations and troubleshooting development issues.
Facilitate user acceptance testing, gathering feedback from sales teams to ensure tools meet their needs and expectations.
Collaborate with marketing and training teams to create effective sales enablement materials and training programs supporting tool adoption and proficiency.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success and efficacy of sales tools, leveraging data-driven insights for future enhancements and improvements.
Stay abreast of the latest digital sales tools, technologies, and industry best practices, proactively introducing innovative ideas and solutions to the team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in digital sales tools or related software products, or 5+ years of experience in a sales or sales support role.
Proficiency with Salesforce platform.
Thorough understanding of sales processes, with demonstrated experience collaborating closely with sales teams.
Proven track record in defining and executing successful product strategies and roadmaps.
Excellent communication skills, adept at gathering feedback, presenting ideas, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project management tools.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the capacity to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Experience in the technology industry, preferably in B2B software or telecommunications, highly desirable.
Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and best practices is a plus.
Additional Details:
Basic Requirements: Bachelor's degree; 5+ years of experience in product management or sales/support role.
Travel Requirements: 10-25%.
