CertainTeed Platforms is looking for a Digital Product Strategy Manager to lead our new Digital Competency team. This role will lead the development and launch of new internal and external facing digital applications products to serve the needs of Certainteed’s R&D organization.
This role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, define prioritized product requirements, and ensure the delivery of high-quality digital products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology and project management, with a proven track record of delivering successful digital projects.
The Digital Product Strategy Manager is part of a multi-disciplinary team of experts in building physics, engineering, materials science, industrial design, and architecture that focuses on early-stage development of new system-based solutions for the building industry. This is accomplished through product and process research and development, specializing in new markets, advanced materials, and new construction techniques.
Essential Functions:
+ Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
+ Coordinate with external vendors and partners as needed to support project objectives.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and define project requirements.
+ Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and other
+ Manage Team Members by providing guidance, mentorship and creating/maintaining development plans stakeholders.
+ Bachelor's Degree with 10 - 15 years of experience, Master's Degree with 5 - 10 years' of experience or PhD with 3 - 5 years of experience, required Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
+ Experience leading complex product strategy efforts.
+ Experience developing/managing a team of UI/ UX designers and Engineers.
+ Proficiency in software development methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
+ Experience with desktop,web and mobile application development.
+ Proficient in using project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana).
+ Deep understanding of AEC concepts and workflows.
+ Experience with data analysis and visualization/ dashboards (tableau, powerbi, etc)
+ Deep knowledge of user research practices, emerging technologies, and market analysis frameworks
+ Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements preferred-
+ Knowledge of AI/Machine Learning best practices for utilization and development preferred
