We are seeking a digital native leader to serve as a Digital Product Manager to own digital platforms driving BISSELL digital customer experiences. The ideal candidate is a customer-obsessed, product visionary who can lead and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional digital products that customers love.
Specifically in this role, you and your cross-functional team of stakeholders, designers, and developers will be responsible for leading discovery and translating the “voice of the customer” into the overall strategy and roadmap that bring the features, functionality, and overall experience to life. You will work with a significant set of stakeholders and be a collaborative, omnichannel champion who puts the customer first, and works closely with peers to deliver a seamless, consistent, and holistic customer experience across channels. This role will report directly to the Associate Director of Digital Product Strategy.
Responsibilities:- Gathers information about the organization’s work processes and information flows
- Translates high-level, complex business needs into functional and non-functional requirements and manages changes to such requirements
- Serves as the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams
- Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver artifacts as needed
- Work independently with users to define concepts
- Utilizes experience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies required
- Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans
- Consults with senior IT management on the design of moderately complex systems and projects
- Possesses an understanding of a wide variety of products and systems capabilities and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business groups to enhance the enterprise’s competitive edge
- Facilitate team collaboration sessions such as Release Planning, Retrospectives, and cross-team dependencies
- Own the strategic roadmap with your cross functional team by defining, planning, prioritizing and refining it with your key stakeholders
- Have an analytical mind to build out data flows and metrics to better understand the performance of your products in market and how you can utilize insights to improve them
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

- Leader and activist in agile development responsible for the definition, strategy and success of your products
- Exceptional product evangelist, with experience dealing with diverse and global partners
- 5+ years of experience and expertise in digital project and product planning, including product definition, feature prioritization, trade-off processes, and roadmap creation.
- 5+ years of deep experience with agile product management and experience driving agile transformation in a mid to large sized organization with complex stakeholders
- Ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners in collectively aligning and executing against the product vision
- Capable of finding product solutions that customers love, in a business that has complex operational and service delivery considerations
- Knowledge and familiarity with UX design, customer experience, and customer experience platform technology systems/specifications interdependencies
- Passion for the BISSELL customer and ability to ensure their needs are translated into a compelling experience
- Good sense of curiosity with genuine desire to learn and think with agility
- Identifying patterns/trends and applying them in new and unfamiliar situations
- Confident working in a fast-moving environment, with a willingness to make quick decisions based on continuous prioritization and evolving customer needs
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, business or similar degree program (or equivalent work experience)
- Has experience working in an agile product management role
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and projects
