Position Overview: We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role is integral to developing and implementing our inbound marketing strategies, coordinating with our agency partner, and ensuring our digital efforts generate substantial website traffic and conversions. The Digital Marketing Specialist will primarily support the Director of Digital Marketing and take the lead on content management, email marketing, content and video marketing, and monthly reporting.
Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with our agency, with the support of the Director of Digital Marketing, to develop and implement inbound marketing strategies that attract and engage leads, prioritizing initiatives that drive site traffic and conversions.
· Oversee content updates and management on the website, ensuring web content is current, accurate, optimized for search engines, and aligned with our brand messaging.
· Develop and oversee the execution of email marketing campaigns and automations
· Develop and oversee the execution of comprehensive content plans, including blog posts, testimonials, assessments, guides, and video content that resonate with our target audience.
· Own the YouTube platform by setting up and maintaining the Cedarhurst channel, collaborating with internal and external resources to develop and execute engaging video content that aligns with our marketing goals.
· Identify industry trends and best practices, and regularly review and analyze competitor websites and content to ensure our strategies exceed consumer expectations for shopping for senior living online.
· Collaborate with the marketing team and other internal resources to ensure cohesion between our website and inbound strategies with paid media, public relations, and the onsite experience of touring our senior living communities.
· Regularly review and oversee content updates on aggregator websites and manage community Google My Business profiles
· Set up, manage, and report on call tracking phone numbers to analyze the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
· Use Google Analytics to create reports on website traffic, conversion rates, and other key metrics. Ensure all marketing initiatives are correctly tagged and tracked with agency partners to measure and improve effectiveness.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
· 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on inbound marketing strategies.
· Proven experience in developing and implementing successful email marketing campaigns.
· Strong understanding of content marketing and SEO best practices.
· Extremely detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy
· Excellent project management and organizational skills.
· Independent, self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving
· Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
· Effective communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
· Experience in the senior living or healthcare industry is a plus.
