Job Summary:
This position will assume responsibility for existing marketing processes and be part of developing new digital marketing efforts and initiatives. Will be responsible for articulating and amplifying SSG brands across all channels with the goal of driving website and online shopping traffic. Duties will also include representing a brand’s social media and digital presence.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Devising strategies to drive online traffic to the company website and grow customer database.
- Tracking conversion rates and making improvements to the website to maximize web presence.
- Utilizing techniques like paid search, retargeting, SEO and PPC.
- Dramatically increase traffic, conversion and profitability of all web stores
- Working with Marketing Director to develop integrated digital marketing campaigns.
- Assisting with digital marketing campaign pacing, planning, and budget.
- Work with Designers and Marketing Director to drive landing page and ad creative optimization.
- Implementing drip email campaigns and marketing automation.
- Analyzing results of email campaigns from both qualitative and quantitative standpoints, with emphasis on E-Commerce growth. Apply results to improve effectiveness of email campaigns.
- Execute and measure blog and social media campaigns.
- Reviewing new technologies with the goal of keeping the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong familiarity with Analytics Platforms, Social Media Platforms, Marketing Automation Platforms, and Google Analytics.
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns.
- Experience in email marketing including A/B testing and audience segmentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Project management skills including: conceptualization, driving alignment, planning resources, managing deadlines and objectives, delivering analysis and recommendations.
- HTML/CSS experience a plus.
- Adobe Suite Graphics skills a plus.
- Aptitude for learning new skills, platforms, and technologies
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong sense of responsibility, prioritization, and the ability to meet deadlines
- Self-starter who will take the initiative for self-improvement in areas of weakness
- Capable of juggling multiple projects simultaneously
- Customer service focused; always willing to assist where needed
- Highly collaborative; able to take direction but also provide useful feedback and suggestions for improvement
- Thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Digitally savvy
Education and Experience:
- B.S. degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of proven B2B and B2C digital marketing work experience required
- Experience managing digital marketing campaigns in the following digital channels: PPC (search ad display), SEO, Social Media, Email Marketing, and Affiliate programs.
