Digital Marketing Specialist - First City Credit Union

The Digital Marketing Specialist will assume, but not be limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Coordinates and/or produces effective and accurate member newsletters, flyers, brochures, posters, direct mail pieces, branch closed circuit video system, Intranet, and other external and internal communications.
• Creates and coordinates credit union advertisements and other community development materials.
• Updates the text and creates promotional graphics on the credit union's website, as needed.
• Interacts with credit union staff to ascertain needs, gather information and provide direction.
• Maintains a solid knowledge of the credit union's programs and products, and is able to use that knowledge to effectively convey their features and benefits in appropriate marketing materials.
• Develops and maintains effective relationships with various vendors; gathers bids as required to ensure that all materials are produced in a manner that meets the credit union's standards of quality and the department's budget.
• Provides consultation, coordination, and assistance as needed for credit union special events.

The successful candidate will possess the following education, knowledge and skillsets:

• Minimum of three to five years equivalent work experience in content creation, marketing, or entertainment related field
• Four-year college degree or equivalent; *will consider if working towards 4-year degree*
• Excellent proofreading and copy-editing skills
• Advanced proficiency with at least one major word processing, desktop publishing or graphics software package, and HTML
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, including Premiere Pro or equivalent video editing software
• Advanced photography and videography skills
• Professional written and verbal communication skills in English
• Well-developed project management and multi-tasking skills are essential
