Role - Digital Marketing Project Manager
Rate - Negotiable
Duration - 12 Month assignment (possible extension)
Location - Long Island City, Queens (5-10 Minutes away from Midtown NYC)
The Communications and Digital Engagement team is part of Global Cardmember Engagement within the Cardmember Engagement & Service Reengineering (CESR) organization. Communications and Digital Engagement's mission is to "Grow Top-Of-Wallet (TOW) behavior by pioneering engaging, rewarding, and differentiating experiences for our cardmembers throughout key touch points to inspire them to use their Client card across their purchase and online engagement journeys .
Specifically, the Digital Spend team strives to "Create a differentiated, simple, and rewarding experience throughout the purchase journey for our target cardmembers to make Client top of wallet for all digital commerce by bringing to market the right solutions for our cardmembers needs. The contractor ECM Digital Marketing Program Manager will collaborate across the organization and with external partners to execute digital campaigns for our existing customers to drive increased digital spend.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute pilots to drive online spend and embed Client cards in purchase path
Lead the execution of thru-the-line Digital First marketing programs to support the engagement and retention of existing customers with acceptable performance metrics and managing to the vision of building a diversified spend centric portfolio critical to a thriving card business.
Manage execution and multi-channel deployment of marketing programs: Merchant Offers, Online Spend, Emerging Payments (digital wallets) and Digital Engagement.
Partner with Client Partners/Segment teams to ensure an aligned strategy across digital channels.
Work with cross functional partners (GCMIO, Strategic Business Units, Legal, Decision Management, Business Development, etc.) and vendors to ensure projects /programs are implemented with precision and on time.
Interface and manage relationships with external partners online merchants, credit card associations and creative agencies.
Partner with Decision Management to develop test strategies that optimize creative targeting and messaging to maximize marketing results.
Develop, review and ensure execution of marketing creatives across multiple channels
Manage business relationships and influence key partners across the organization: Channel Managers, Product/Segment owners, GCMIO (Global Consumer Marketing and Internet Office), Legal, Controls, Compliance, Decision Management, Risk, Finance/CFO, and CCE
In carrying out these responsibilities, the contractor ECM Digital Marketing Program Manager performs several critical tasks, which include but are not always limited to the following:
Project Management for Digital Engagement, Merchant Offer, Online Spend and Emerging Payments.
Execute flawlessly multi-channel campaigns.
Synthesize and translate learnings/insights from the initiatives above into actionable recommendations
Report success metrics for all campaigns.
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years in Business, Marketing/Servicing or Marketing Management
Excellent communication skills, particularly as it pertains to tailoring one's message and style to best reach one's audience --- in both formal and informal settings and regardless of the audience (e.g. technical, creative, legal, internal and external auditors, senior managers and officers)
Strategic creative thinker with a strong results orientation
Analytical and conceptual thinker with ability to operate in "white space "
Strategic thinker with ability to influence others across the organization
Comfortable operating in fast-paced ambiguous space
Strong customer focus and past achievement in applying a customer mindset to shape solutions and approach to realize marketplace potential and meet financial goals.
Customer centric with ability to balance both customer benefits and business financials. Identify win-win for customers and Client.
Strong Project Management skills
Digital experience required, ecommerce &/or financial services experience preferred
Partner management experience preferred
