About the Job
The Digital Marketing Specialist primarily works with our digital team to develop and maintain email, web and digital projects for Mills Marketing and our clients. The Digital Marketing Specialist will serve as the subject matter expert and product owner of SEO and must have solid project management, coordination, organization, and prioritization skills.
Other key qualities include excellent communication skills, written and verbal, a positive attitude, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a good sense of humor in a very fast-paced environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Email:
- Build and manage templates, create emails, and deploy campaigns.
- Serve as an email deliverability expert.
- Serve as an email subject matter expert for the company and clients.
- Interface with clients in a technical support capacity.
Web & Landing Pages:
- Create and update web and landing pages.
- Assist with website set-up and project management.
- Optimize website content, meta tags, images, and other on-page elements for search engines.
Digital:
- Coordinate digital marketing efforts as it relates to SEO, keyword strategies, digital strategy, social, and other related projects.
- Perform regular SEO audits to identify and rectify issues.
- Execute on and maintain client marketing calendars.
- Follow internal digital review processes and suggest or implement improvements.
- Track campaigns for company and clients
Other Duties:
- Support Account Managers as needed
- Support every associate whenever possible and foster a spirit of teamwork within the agency.
- Manage and help prepare for virtual and on-site client meetings as needed.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Proven work experience in digital marketing.
- Knowledge of multiple email service provider platforms.
- Experience with list set-up and management for email
- Familiarity with CMS web editing tools.
- Familiarity with marketing reporting and analytics.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics. GA Certified preferred.
- Experience with campaign tracking and UTM tracking parameters.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and new opportunities in SEO, online marketing and measurement.
