This Digital Marketing Lead role is based at Hinkley company headquarters in Avon Lake, OH.
This position is NOT A FULLY REMOTE ROLE, it will require 3 days in office.
For the role, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in website management, Email marketing, UX, agency management, and experience with CMS management and coding. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to drive engagement, and brand growth across multiple brands. This position is primarily responsible for partnering with IT, the Marketing Design Team and agencies for web site maintenance and development including the overall appearance and user experience of our websites. The Digital Marketing Lead will be responsible for successful implementation of email campaigns, digital product catalog management, search optimization, user journey mapping and analytics measurement.
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities
Website Management
- Lead the design, development and maintenance of multiple websites, electronic publications and applications
- Manage and maintain the company’s Content Management System (CMS), working cross functionally to ensure that all web content is up-to-date, SEO-friendly, and continually optimized.
- Lead the on-going enhancement of content, user experience and overall design
- Ensures all design elements, templates and finished solutions work within a variety of browser types and screen settings along with the constraints set by development and design
- Collaborates on preparation of illustrative materials from graphic designers and maintains site appearance and accuracy by developing and enforcing content and display standards
- Manages proprietary website error reporting tool
Email/1:1 Marketing
- Works with Marketing Director to develop 1:1 marketing strategy. Manages the execution and measurement of email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, engage customers, and build brand loyalty. Ensure email content is personalized, relevant, and compliant with industry regulations. Ensure the CRM system is effectively integrated with other marketing tools and that insights are regularly reported.
Analytics and Reporting
- Monitor and analyze the performance of brand websites and digital marketing campaigns using various analytics tools. Prepare regular reports as needed to inform decision making and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Manage Digital Platforms and Direct Report(s) with Continuous Improvement Mindset
- Collaborate with external agencies, direct report(s) and vendors to ensure that digital tools work effectively and within budget. Act as a primary point of contact for agency partners, overseeing internal vs external web development needs, execution, and performance analysis.
- Utilize coding skills as needed to implement and troubleshoot website changes, enhance user experience, and optimize landing pages. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required. Foster coding skill growth and development with direct report(s).
- Keep up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices.
Type of Education and Work Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or related fields
- Three to five years of experience in digital marketing, with extensive experience with CRM systems, CMS platforms.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other coding languages. Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot), CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Magento), and digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Salsify).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
- Project Management: Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously while determining prioritization with leadership
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively lead and collaborate with internal teams and external partners. Ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical personnel.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: The ability to learn quickly in various technical and creative environments while delivering quality design work by tight deadlines.
