A Brief Overview
The Digital and Influencer Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing digital influencer and ambassador programs, as well as supporting local market digital marketing campaigns. The role focuses on identifying and building partnerships with influencers who align with the LA Kings brand along with managing digital ad copy and creative requests, and reporting on campaign performance.
What you will do
- Lead the LA Kings Ambassador Program, including planning, executing, tracking, and reporting the effectiveness and success of the program. Collaborate with the Marketing Director to ensure there is a proper selection program and build out the perks and deliverables of participants who will help grow the fan base.
- Manage influencer partnership by researching and identifying influencers who align with the LA Kings brand and target audience, including influencers across industries such as music, fashion, food, car culture, politics, and regional culture. This role will own their own rolodex of strategic influencer contacts that will help grow our brand.
- Utilize tracking and reporting data via Emplify and other platforms to optimize influencer campaigns, ensure key metrics are met, and provide actionable insights in a timely manner.
- Lead and support Gameday Influencer and Celebrity responsibilities for home games, including coordination of influencer activities, event appearances, and social media engagement.
- Create, manage, and optimize digital ads by leading copy development, submitting creative requests, and leveraging data for performance tracking.
- Develop post-game recaps using internal BI data and agency data, focusing on key metrics like reach, engagement, and conversion rates to drive future campaign insights.
- Deliver in-depth analysis and reporting on campaign effectiveness, highlighting successes, areas for improvement, and providing growth opportunities and recommendations based on data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with the internal marketing team to ensure alignment between campaign efforts and broader digital marketing strategies.
- Monitor real-time campaign performance leading up to games, tracking overall performance, revenue attribution, and site traffic.
Education Qualifications
- High School Diploma or its equivalency (BA/BS Degree Preferred) Marketing, Business, Journalism, English focus preferred
Experience Qualifications
- 2-4 years of related work experience
- Experience in influencer marketing, digital marketing, or social media management.
- Experience with digital ad platforms, trafficking, and performance reporting tools.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong understanding of influencer trends, social media platforms, and content creation, such as Emplify.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Passion for sports and a deep understanding of the LA Kings brand and hockey culture is a plus.
- Ability to work game days, related events inclusive of evenings, weekends and holidays.
Pay Scale: $67,000-$75,000
