Our client, a leader in the power sports industry, is seeking an experienced Digital Data Analyst for an 11+ month contract assignment in Plymouth, MN. This role hybrid with 1-2 days onsite per week.

The Digital Data Analyst plays a key role in understanding opportunities, improving customer experience and accelerating growth across ecommerce digital properties, digital content and actionable insights development.
Work closely with several different teams including Digital Content, Business & Marketing leaders, Digital Product mangers/owners, UX and development teams to influence digital optimization plans. Create and utilize reporting tools and dashboards to provide valuable insights to the team and stakeholders to guide digital product content, merchandising and SEO efforts.
You will partner with stakeholders to focus on identifying user and business needs, along with areas of opportunity within our Ecommerce roadmap. You will help lead and drive reporting automations, develop leading and lagging key performance indicators, scorecards, forecasts, data models and visualizations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Be an organizational subject matter expert across ecommerce data layer, data collection, tag management tools, digital data, and analytics
- Shape the work by connecting with stakeholders to understand business and consumer needs, gather necessary qualitative and quantitative data, form hypotheses, develop predictions, and define success metrics.
- Analyze search visibility, authority, and organic keyword rankings using Moz, Jungle Scout and other findability tools to improve product discoverability/SEO
- Apply business knowledge to identify & develop relevant KPIs track and enhance customer experience and to iteratively improve marketing funnel progression, conversion rates and revenue comps.
- Partner with category stakeholders, digital product teams, UX, content and marketing to understand visitor behavioral, tell the customer story and drive change
- Perform complex analyses and develop solutions to complex problems - Present formal results, insights, and recommendations to the broader digital group including product owners, designers, analysts, and strategic decision makers
- Champion the Test-and-Optimize culture that embraces continuous digital innovation and improvement
- Partner with cross-functional teams in designing, developing and delivering the reporting automation
- Develop curated reporting to measure Marketplace performance across several areas such as page performance, product categories, dealer listings, ratings & reviews, effectiveness of content and communicate with stakeholders to inform content strategy.
- Having a deep data curiosity, connecting it to business opportunities and being a self-starter are critical to this role
- Four-year degree in mathematics, analytics, statistics, comp-sci, economics, or related
- 1-4 years of experience with data analytics, data reporting automation and business analytics
- 1-4 years of experience with digital analytics focusing on Digital and Multichannel optimization
- 1-4 years of experience with BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Domo, Alteryx or others
- Experience with digital analytics data collection, data layers and tag management tools, web analytics/digital platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
- Knowledge of with Amazon Seller Central, Jungle Scout, PowerBI, and SEO tools like Moz or SEMRush is a plus.
- Experience with e-commerce marketplaces, their algorithms, and best practices for optimization preferred.
- Strong understanding of the conversion optimization concepts and best practices for responsive web, mobile apps and digital marketing campaigns
- Knowledge of Design of Experiments, AB & Multivariate testing process, programs and tools is a plus
- Experience with MS Power BI, MS SQL Studio, Databricks, Snowflake etc.,
- Digital marketing optimization experience including measurement of SEO/M, email, display, remarketing, etc.
- Ability to work cross-functionally among many different teams
- Strong business acumen, including an ability to create business cases for digital optimization projects
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
