Sodexo is seeking a hybrid Registered Dietitian at Brattleboro Retreat, a 110-bed behavioral health facility located in the bucolic New England town of Brattleboro, VT. The Brattleboro Retreat provides specialized diagnosis and treatment services for adults, adolescents, and children suffering from a wide range of psychiatric and addiction challenges, including eating disorders. Brattleboro is located in Southern Vermont, approximately 20 miles southwest of Keene, NH and 35 miles North of Northampton, MA.
$2,500 sign on bonus!
Option to work four 10-hour days or partial remote (2 days/week)
Start with 3 weeks’ vacation and 3 personal days!
Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal
Money toward continuing education events
Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually
The successful candidate will:
- provide nutritional care to patients spanning the life cycle – child, adolescent and adult - that aligns with their psychiatric, addiction and/or eating disorder treatment;
- collaborate with the Clinical Nutrition Manager and food service operations team regarding meal provision and menu management;
- precept nutrition students and dietetic interns; and
- ensure DOH/State/Federal and company standards are being upheld.

- Registered Dietitian credentials and CD in VT; RD's eligible for certification in VT may also apply;
- strong verbal and written communication skills;
- good time management skills be a self-starter and a team player; and
- the ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff.

Qualifications & Requirements:Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
