Dietetic Technician - Pride Health

Job Title: Dietetic Tech

Location: New York, NY 10032

Shift: Day/Evening both available 5x8-Hour - 40 hours weekly - rotating schedule including holidays/weekends.

Duration: 16 weeks (Possible Extension)

Pay Range: $24/hr.

Job Summary:

Plan and produce meals according to established guidelines.

Teach principles of nutrition to groups and individuals.

Assist dieticians in patient instruction regarding special diets.

Train food service employees on dietary policies and procedures, guidelines and food preparation.

Collaborate with dietician, cooks and food service staff to select and prepare appropriate menus.

Supervise distribution of meals and snacks to residents.

Requirements:

Associates in nutrition, or related Food Service field or equivalent, related work experience.

Food Safety Certification.

Knowledge of computers.

Good math, communication & interpersonal skills.
