We are seeking candidates for position of Dietary Supervisor.
** Full-Time Shift of 7AM to 3PM **
Dietary Supervisor Qualifications:
- Prior experience in food service required.
- Experience in Long-Term Care, preferred.
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets.
- ServSafe certified.
- Effective time management skills and self-motivation.
- Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be reliable and flexible in work duties.
Dietary Supervisor Job Summary:
The Supervisor will work with the Food Service Director to prepare both gourmet and family style meals by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate staff.
- Communicate in a positive, caring, and helpful manner with residents, family members, and other staff.
- Work effectively within a team, receiving and offering direction and feedback.
- Manage a staff of 15-18 dietary aides.
- Check for dietary changes, dismissals and transfers prior to tray-line service.
- Manage resident tray-line production to assure accuracy of specifications.
- Understand and communicate knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling.
- Ensure that infection control practices are always maintained.
- Work other jobs within the Dietary Department as necessary.
