Sunshine Terrace Foundation in beautiful Logan, Utah is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide with multi-tasking abilities to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team on a part-time basis. ABOUT US

In our 70 years as a non-profit, the Sunshine Terrace Foundation has grown from a small nursing home housing twelve women, to a campus of short-term & long term health services that include rehabilitation, assisted living, senior exercise, health education, and multiple types of therapy. We have a dietary staff at both our Assisted Living & Skilled Nursing Facilities, this gives us more time to provide the best meals possible for our residents. Some of our residents have lost their ability to do their favorite hobbies, or be able to order Chinese takeout whenever they wish; so we cater to every residents needs. From a grilled cheese to a burger & fries, we strive to make their stay with us as enjoyable as possible.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. 

• Prepares minimal food items such as fruits, toast, and beverages with the instruction of the cook.
• Prepares silverware and napkins.
• Prepares dining room areas for meals.
• Collects and stacks dirty dishes on cart and returns them to the kitchen.
• Washes dishes and cleans dish area, tables, cabinets, and meal carts.
• Collects and places garbage and trash in designated containers.
• Cleans dining room areas after meals.
• Performs cleaning duties as scheduled.

CONSISTENT PART-TIME SCHEDULE 

We pride ourselves in being able to reasonably accommodate our employees scheduling needs. We currently have a day shift from 6:00am - 2:00pm and an evening shift from 2:00pm - 8:00pm with some slightly shorter shifts available in between. Our staff understands that our residents need to eat every day and willingly work holidays and weekends on a rotating schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Several months related experience or training preferred
• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Requires Food Handlers permit or ServSafe certification within one month of hire
• Requires excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to multi-task
