Full Job Description
Prestige Care Center of Fort Collins is seeking a Dietary Manager/Cook to become a member of our elite team!
Our nursing and rehab facility are comprised of team members who are compassionate, dependable, courteous and informative.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Overseeing the daily operations of the food service department including the kitchen, dish room, food storage areas and dining rooms.
- Adhering to state regulations, current best practices, and policies and procedures for food preparation and meal service.
- Managing meal planning, inventory control, budgeting and purchasing.
- Organizing staff work schedules.
- Regularly interacting and communicating with residents/family members
- Maintaining a working knowledge of federal regulations of the State Department of Health code as well as rules and regulations regarding meal service.
- Three to Five years supervisory experience health care or nursing home preferred.
- Knowledge of CMS and HHSC regulations regarding food service industry
- Computer skills and knowledge in nutritional software programs preferred.
