Long term care facility is looking for a Dietary Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure strict compliance with fire and health regulations governing food preparation, serving, and building maintenance for dining facilities.
• Ensure that food is prepared and served timely and economically.
• Track and monitor methods for food preparation, portion sizes, and presentation to minimize waste and make sure that residents are presented with food that tastes and looks delicious.
• Respond appropriately to complaints regarding menu offerings, service, quality or accommodations.
• Perform food preparation, cleaning or serving tasks as needed to confirm that residents are served promptly.

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two or more years of supervisory experience
• Knowledge of state and federal food regulations
• ServSafe certification
• Experience with menu planning software
