Location: Hollywood FL 
Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 per year

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Dietary Services to lead the dietary department at our assisted living community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional dining experiences while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role is integral to maintaining the health, wellness, and satisfaction of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of dietary services, including menu planning, food preparation, and service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to food safety and dietary standards.
• Develop and manage the department's budget, including inventory control and cost management.
• Recruit, train, and supervise dietary staff to maintain high performance and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to accommodate residents' dietary needs and preferences.
• Monitor resident satisfaction and implement improvements based on feedback.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and dining environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in dietary management, preferably in an assisted living or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of dietary regulations and best practices in food service.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Certification as a Dietary Manager (CDM) or equivalent is preferred.
