At Alliance Care Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, we're dedicated to delivering the highest level of comfort and healing to our residents. We're currently seeking a Part-Time Cook to join our team and help us provide wholesome, nutritious meals.

Position: Part-Time Cook

Salary: $16 per hour

Shift: 11am-7pm

Job Description:

• Prepare meals according to planned menus, ensuring they are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Serve food with established portion control procedures and accommodate therapeutic diets as needed.
• Follow standardized recipes and special diet orders.
• Provide bedtime snacks and assist in serving meals in a timely manner.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards, adhering to regulations and established policies.
• Assist with cleaning duties and ensure the kitchen is clean and safe.
• Handle food and waste disposal according to policies.

Requirements:

• Required: 1 year of cooking experience in a long-term/nursing home care facility.
• Knowledge of food sanitation and batch cooking.
• Professional cooking experience is welcome.
