We are seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare and serve all foods according to the menu in a safe, sanitary manner while maintaining a clean and safe work area within the guidelines in accordance with facility, OBRA, Federal, State, and other regulatory expectations. Must possess CDPH Food Service Sanitation Certificate.

Cooks must have the following:

·      Must be able to work in collaboration with the dietary team.

·      Must be able to work scheduled hours including some weekends/Holidays.

The Cooks will:

·      Preparation/serving of residents' daily meals and maintaining kitchen area.

·      Recent experience as a Cook in a healthcare environment

·      Should be familiar with all Cook responsibilities including setting up the tray line, delivery of meal trays to all patient areas in a timely manner working in the dish room, etc.

·      Should be able to maintain sanitation standards in the kitchen.

·      Should have excellent communication and customer service skills.
