JOB TITLE:                              Dietary Aide

AVAILABLE SHIFTS:               11 AM – 7:30 PM

JOB LOCATION:                      Rockwall, TX

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.

·       Serves meal in accordance with facility methods and using correct portion control and plating/ presentation guidelines.

·       Performs daily and scheduled cleaning of kitchen and equipment in accordance with established sanitation procedures.

·       Ensures work area is properly cleaned and sanitized after each task.

·       Ensures serving line and dining rooms are correctly set up and cleaned after use, including tasks such as rolling flatware, setting tables, maintaining tabletop condiments and centerpieces and other duties as assigned.

·       Properly stores, chills, and reheats leftovers for later use.

·       Cleans and arranges food storage areas.

·       Assists other department staff as needed to ensure timely production, service, and clean-up.

·       Completes kitchen close duties (PM shift) as assigned by the Dietary Manager or directed by cook in charge.

·       Perform other duties as assigned/required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

COVID-19 considerations:  We COVID test new hires on first day of employment and all staff twice a week.  Please provide a copy of your vaccination card (if you have been vaccinated). You are required to wear a mask while in the facility and to wear appropriate PPE.
