Now hiring Full-Time Dietary Aide to join our team!

The dietary aides are responsible for maintaining clean, organized and stocked workstations while keeping in compliance with federal and state regulations. It is the responsibility of a dietary aide to successfully serve and clean up meals, wash and put away dishes and equipment, and roll silverware. Dietary aides also complete hands on training with new employees in accordance with the dietary department orientation training checklist.
The Dietary Aide will:
- Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
- Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.
- Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures.
- Assist in daily scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Set up meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc.
· Set up beverage stations by making and pouring up water, juice, coffee, and thickened liquids
· Stock stations, and storage areas with necessary items for service
· Dish salad, jello, pudding, applesauce, salad dressing, brown sugar in preparation of corresponding meal service
- Prepare and deliver snacks, etc., as instructed.
· Prepare dining room for meal service by filling caddies and dispensers, and setting up racks and carts
· Serve on the tray line by placing beverages, condiments, and silverware on trays
· Serve plates on steam table when applicable
· Clean up workspace when meals end
· Properly label, date, and store product
· Clear dining room by scraping plates, and washing tables, racks, and carts
· Record and initial dish machine temperatures and run test strip
· Wash and properly put away all dishes, trays, lids, hot pallets etc.
· Roll silverware for upcoming meal
· Clean out dish machine, empty and refill for next meal
· Complete cleaning tasks as assigned
Dietary Aide must have the following:
- Must be available to work weekends and some holidays.
- Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum of 5 ft. and be able to push, pull, move and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 ft.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and work at a fast pace while paying close attention to detail.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
· Food handler's license preferred.
· Excellent attendance and punctuality is a must.
· This position is fast paced and physical. Whole shift minus break times are spent standing,walking, push/pulling carts etc..
· Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs.
