The Lutheran Home is looking for a Full-time Dietary Aide to work with our Assisted Living Kitchen. In this position you will ensure proper portioning and serving of both regular and modified diets, keep the kitchen area clean and work with other staff to ensure timely food service. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Assure foods are being served in an attractive manor.
- Assure foods are prepared, served, and stored at proper temperatures and according to sanitation guidelines.
- Take appropriate care of food service equipment and operate safely.
- Follow sanitary guidelines and perform daily cleaning, both assigned and unassigned.
- Assists in orders, receiving and storing of food.
- Ensure food products are properly rotated, labeled and dated.
- Wash dishes, flatware, pots/pans by hand or dishwasher.
- Interact with residents/families in a caring, friendly manner and work to meet the needs of the residents, specifically with respect to diet and food preferences.
- Observe and enforce infection control, safety, chemical and disaster policies as needed.

- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Dietary experience preferred
