Dietary Aide. - ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Baytown.

Our hospital is dedicated to providing high-quality care for individuals with disabling injuries and illnesses. We are seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in meal service for patients, visitors, and staff, while embodying our commitment to excellence.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare and portion food for various diets following safety protocols.
• Clean and sanitize food preparation equipment and work areas.
• Maintain inventory of essential food items.
• Operate dish machines and maintain patient diet records.
• Ensure a safe environment and comply with safety standards.
• Attend work regularly and perform additional duties as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of healthcare food service experience preferred.
• Food Handler’s permit preferred.

Skills:

• Knowledge of patient diets and food safety.
• Proficient in computer skills and effective communication.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
