Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Diesel Automotive Technician. The Diesel Technician / Mechanic performs car and bus service, repair, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting service and buy back/turn back service according to company policy and procedures. This position requires the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.
The rate of pay for this position starts at $28.95/hour. Automotive Technicians can make up to an additional $12 / hour with approved ASE certifications and an additional $1 / hour with a current Safety License Certification.
This position is located at our Service Center: 3103 N. Nimitz Hwy. Honolulu, HI 96819.

Responsibilities:We are hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:
- Ensure that all warranty and mechanical repairs are completed according to the manufacturer’s specifications and guidelines.
- Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs.
- Perform routine and annual DOT required repairs and inspections.
- Read and interpret diagnostic test results, often by using dials, gauges, and other computer equipment.
- Raise trucks, buses, and heavy parts or equipment by using hydraulic jacks or hoists.
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles.
- Do routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts.
- Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair.
- Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures.
- Utilize multiple manufacturers’ websites, software and diagnostic tools.
- May process new fleet, LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation or buy-backs.
- Participate in company and manufacturer approved training or other industry related training.
- Maintain the work area in a safe, clean condition and comply with all uniform and equipment standards.
- Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record in the past 5 years (DUI/DWI).
- Must be able understand, read, write, and speak english.
Must be able to complete PUC and pre-employment drug test and provide copies of the necessary certifications.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
- Two years of mechanical experience in a diesel repair shop servicing current model vehicle required.
- Must have your own standard hand tools to perform repairs and maintenance on current vehicles.
- 4+ current and valid ASE certifications required OR must obtain at least 4 of the GP approved ASE's for the Diesel Tech role with in 9 months of start date.
- Class 4 license, or the ability to obtain to operate vehicles with a GVWR greater than 18K.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs when performing maintenance or repairs.
- Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) flexible schedule, which may include weekends and holidays.
