Monday - Friday dayshift. No weekends!
$25-37/hour, based on experience
Responsibilities
- Provide quality repair services on construction equipment in order to meet customer needs in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner
- Performs basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned construction equipment
- Identifies problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel & electrical systems and executes solutions
- Participates in Service Training programs for the development of skills and knowledge, and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins
- Document all repairs and testing for customer and warranty repairs
- Understand and meet standard of efficiency for repairs
- Any other duties as assigned by the Service Supervisor and/or Management Team.
Qualifications
- Positive outlook and excellent communication, both verbal and written
- Excel in a high volume fast paced environment
- Creative problem solver
- Good computer and systems knowledge
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 2 year technical school graduate preferred.
- 1-year fleet or dealership experience in a diesel shop is required; 3-5 years preferred.
- Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team.
- Must have an inventory of hand tools to facilitate the assigned repairs.
- Heavy equipment and or agricultural experience is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
Physical Requirements

Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.

Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds

Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl

Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
