Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshooting on diesel engines and heavy equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including oil changes, fuel system repairs, and electrical system diagnostics.
- Inspect, repair, and maintain heavy equipment and trash trucks to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately assess vehicle issues and provide effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or similar role in diesel engine maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and heavy equipment maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment specific to diesel engines.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications in diesel technology or related fields are preferred.
