Wiers is a fast-growing company that operates International Truck Dealerships and Fleet Partners Service Centers in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Colorado, Texas, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
Established in 1964, Wiers maintains and repairs class 3-8 vehicles including commercial vans, super-duty trucks, straight trucks, tractors, and trailers. Wiers Service Centers are operated by experienced professional managers who bring exceptional capabilities to a friendly and family-oriented environment.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Assists the service manager to recruit, interview, and hire technicians.
- Conducts tandem interviews to ensure quality hires.
- Conducts one-on-one performance meetings with technicians.
- Works with the Service Center Manager and technicians to establish their monthly targets that support the company strategy and are consistent with their role description.
- Conducts and documents performance reviews for the service manager.
- Documents performance issues in accordance with company policy.
- Ensures each technician receives 20 WLC's per year.
- Coach and mentor technicians to improve individual's capabilities.
- Manages talent and constructs Individual Development Plans.
Production Management:
- Generates 140 productive hours per month.
- Assigns work to the most capable technician.
- Accurately verifies, tests, and diagnoses customer complaints prior to repair.
- Ensure all repairs are approved before beginning work.
- Directs staff to find, locate, and follow the proper repair process.
- Conducts in-process quality controls to ensure that the repair is properly executed.
- Ensures that technician performance, productivity, and efficiency are within the company standard.
- Ensures that all additional repairs are noted and communicated to the service advisor
- Coordinates repairs and scheduling with the service advisor.
- Verifies customer complaint is corrected after repair is completed.

Starting at $38 to $45 per hour

Qualification Profile:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License (CDL Preferred)
- 5 years or more of prior relevant and successful leadership experience in a commercial vehicle repair facility
