- Diagnostics and Repairs: Perform diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on various equipment, from light-duty to heavy-duty trucks and construction equipment.
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct scheduled maintenance per OEM guidelines using electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
- Emergency Assistance: Provide roadside repair support when necessary, coordinating towing as needed.
- Tool and Equipment Care: Maintain tools and equipment to ensure reliability.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and perform DOT inspections.
- Fabrication Tasks: Weld, fabricate, and cut parts as required using arc-welding and flame cutting equipment.
- 1+ years of proven experience in mechanic, especially with diesel engines, gas engines, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to diagnose and repair diverse mechanical issues.
- Welding and fabrication skills are preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not mandatory.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-disciplined.
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to adapt to changing business needs.
