Diesel Mechanic - Barnes, Inc.

Barnes, Inc., is a 100% employee-owned, full-service landscape, lawn maintenance, tree care and snow removal company of approximately 140 employees. We are looking for a full-time Diesel Mechanic to join our employee-owned family.

Job Description:

• Perform maintenance and repairs to our various types of diesel-powered landscape equipment and trucks (Case, CAT, John Deere, Bobcat, Cummins, Duramax, Volvo, etc.)
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic tools
• Ability to rebuild engines and welding skills are a bonus
• Ability to lift 70 lbs
• Ability to complete a daily list of tasks in a timely manner
• Ability to think on your feet when doing on-road repairs
• Flexible schedule during the winter months is required

Salary: Starting full-time rate $28-35/hr. More based on experience. Additional pay for snow work.

90-day probationary period w/ merit increase based on performance.

License/Certification:

• Diesel Medium and Heavy Truck Technician Certification or work experience equivalent
• Driver's License (Required)
• CDL (Preferred)
