Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician B - Reyes Holdings

Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician B to help with repairs and maintenance on trailer/tractor equipment at our facility shop in Chantilly, VA.





Shift: Full-Time l Monday - Friday 10:00am - 6:30pmPay: $24.00 - $28.00/HR based on experience and qualifications

Position Responsibilities:



+ The Fleet Technician focuses on the preventative maintenance of the fleet diesel equipment, identifying root causes of basic failures to perform repairs as needed


+ As the Fleet Technician, you will complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance


+ You will inspect brake systems to ensure that machines are in proper operating condition and make sure that equipment has required licensing and registration


+ You will use hand tools and power tools such as screwdrivers and perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery


+ You will examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices


+ Other duties as assigned




Required Education and Experience:



+ High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 plus years of related experience


+ Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds


+ Must have a valid Driver’s License to operate applicable company vehicles


+ Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)



Preferred Education and Experience:
