We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Atlas Terminal Company team as a Diesel Mechanic! Under general supervision, the Diesel Mechanic II utilizes their experience and manufacturers recommended procedures to conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of diesel trucks, semi-trailers and their auxiliary systems (APUs, liftgates, reefer motors, etc.), in a safe and cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Possession of advanced knowledge of heavy trucking equipment, diesel engine repair, electrical system troubleshooting and all associated heavy truck subsystems.
- Owns and maintains a professional assortment of repair tools and equipment.
- Understands and utilizes specialized diesel engine diagnostic equipment. (Code readers, test equipment, etc.)
- Is comfortable and experienced in the diagnosis and repair of a wide range of makes and models of heavy trucking equipment.
- Applies knowledge of DOT, EPA, and OSHA rules and regulations.
- Other duties may be assigned.

What You'll Need:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2-4 years of job-related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience are required.
A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required. A valid CDL-A is optimal.
