Cj's Tow Crew, Inc. is a trusted leader in the towing and roadside assistance industry. We provide fast, reliable service to our customers, ensuring that vehicles are safely transported or repaired on-site. We’re looking to expand our team with a skilled Diesel Mechanic who brings hands-on experience from the towing industry. This position is Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm with a lunch break.

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Diesel Mechanic with a background in the towing industry to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and equipment, including heavy-duty tow trucks, service vehicles, and other towing fleet assets. You will ensure that our fleet is always in top working condition, minimizing downtime and providing our customers with prompt, high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repair of diesel-powered vehicles, including tow trucks, heavy-duty trucks, and other fleet equipment.
Diagnose mechanical issues, including engine, transmission, brake, and electrical systems, and perform necessary repairs.
Conduct inspections on vehicles to ensure they meet safety and operational standards.
Troubleshoot issues with heavy-duty towing equipment and service vehicles.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
Work closely with the operations team to ensure that vehicles are returned to service quickly and efficiently.
Provide emergency roadside repairs and support to the towing team as needed.
Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, ideally with at least 2 years of experience in the towing industry.
In-depth knowledge of diesel engines, heavy-duty trucks, and towing equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Familiarity with diagnostic tools and computer-based systems used in heavy-duty vehicles.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
A valid driver’s license, and a CDL is preferred but not required.
ASE Certification or equivalent qualifications are a plus.
