As a Diesel Mechanic - Customer Equipment Solutions (Service Tech III - CES), you'll use your skills to perform maintenance and complex repairs on customer owned equipment in a safe and professional manner

Like every member of our team, we will rely on you to provide exceptional customer service to our customers.What you'll do:Safe maintenance and repair of a variety of complex customer owned equipment involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systemsMaintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basisUpsell and demonstrate a wide array of complex equipment for customersWhen required, travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of customer owned equipment; must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional mannerAssist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & partsOther duties assigned as neededRequirements:High School diploma or equivalentValid driver's license with acceptable driving record3-5 years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and toolsAdvanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of toolsKnowledge of construction equipment and strong mechanical background knowledge of various enginesMust own tools applicable to positionSuperior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skillsAbility to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.Why join us?We don't just ""talk the talk!""
