Diesel Mechanic at Yale University - Transdev

Job Title: Auto & Diesel Fleet Mechanic

Location: Yale University Campus Shuttle

Salary: $27-$29/hour (Union contract) + $0.25/hour for each ASE certification

Shifts: Monday-Friday, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel and gasoline vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Experience in auto and diesel mechanics.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
