Diesel Maintenance Technician - MMS Manufacturing

About the role:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Maintenance Technician to join our team in Texas. As a vital part of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure vehicles and equipment operate efficiently and safely.
• Replace or repair defective parts, such as fuel injectors, pumps, and exhaust systems.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on each vehicle.
• Collaborate with other technicians and team members to enhance operational efficiency.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.

Qualifications

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Technical training in diesel mechanics preferred.
• ASE certification in diesel technology is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Diesel Maintenance Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, systems, and components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Salary info:

$24 - $32 / hr
