The Die Repair Technician will be responsible for repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining casting and trim dies according to original specifications. This role involves operating various machines and equipment associated with the die repair process.
You will receive guidance from the Team Leader or Supervisor and perform a range of tasks including transporting, cleaning, disassembling, repairing, and reassembling dies, while ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire role with a maximum pay rate of $32/hr, depending on experience

Skills
- Ability to draw polish or grind die cavity surfaces using various tools
- Proficient in building and replacing segments, cores, details, and parts from blueprints
- Skilled in performing welding duties in the foundry and Die Repair Department
- Experience in training new employees
Responsibilities
- Repair, rebuild, and maintain casting and trim dies
- Transport, clean, disassemble, repair, and reassemble dies as needed
- Troubleshoot production tooling problems and perform necessary repairs
- Complete forms, die work orders, and records as directed
- Maintain an orderly and clean work area and equipment
- Train new employees, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
- Perform all other duties assigned by supervision
Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
- Ability to perform highly skilled tasks and solve complex problems
Education Requirements
- Associates Degree, trade or technical school, or journey person certificate
Education Requirements Credential Category
- Technical education or certification in related field
Experience Requirements
- Up to 2 years of training required; completion of 2 years of on-the-job training if minimum experience is not met
- Tool & Die Repair Journeyman Papers are a plus but not required
