The Die Repair Technician will be responsible for repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining casting and trim dies according to original specifications. This role involves operating various machines and equipment associated with the die repair process.
You will receive guidance from the Team Leader or Supervisor and perform a range of tasks including transporting, cleaning, disassembling, repairing, and reassembling dies, while ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Skills

• Ability to draw polish or grind die cavity surfaces using various tools
  
• Proficient in building and replacing segments, cores, details, and parts from blueprints
  
• Skilled in performing welding duties in the foundry and Die Repair Department
  
• Experience in training new employees
  

Responsibilities

• Repair, rebuild, and maintain casting and trim dies
  
• Transport, clean, disassemble, repair, and reassemble dies as needed
  
• Troubleshoot production tooling problems and perform necessary repairs
  
• Complete forms, die work orders, and records as directed
  
• Maintain an orderly and clean work area and equipment
  
• Train new employees, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
  
• Perform all other duties assigned by supervision
